Initial Check

When you visit our office during our intial check drop-in times we will require you to fill out a registration form providing a brief outline of your problem.

We have a queueing system outside so you can keep socially distanced while waiting in reception.
Please bring a mask with you (unless exempt). We ask that you come alone unless you have a disability or health issue meaning you need support.

Someone will then have a short discussion about your problem and make a decision on whom can help you: either send you to an information officer to support you with your query, or an adviser to explorer or give more in-depth support.

For more a in-depth view of our initial check process at our office, please try our Initial Check in-depth page.

All team members are trained to ensure you get the best possible outcome.

Face-to-face Intial Check drop-ins are available at the following times*:

Monday to Friday10 am until 12 noon

*Please ensure you arrive early, as these sessions are held on a first-come-first-served basis.

Please be aware that if you attend outside the drop-in times you may not be able to attend a drop-in or an appointment for advice unless you already have a pre-booked appointment with us.
